After a short wait our train pulled into the station. The Alfa Pendular arrived, we got on and left. No time to waste.
The max speed the train got to was 227km/h. (About 141 mph)
The distance between the two cities is roughly 350km in a straight line.
At some point we were zipping along next to the Atlantic and were waving to Florida.
2 hours and 45 minutes later we pulled into the final station in Lisbon. We are here!
Chilling on Newark Airport, and now we are on the next flight to Porto.
Met some great people already, and that was just the airport.
Portugal here we come!!
We are on the plane. And our AirTags say our luggage is too!

Since they lose so many bags lately, we gave ourselves a challenge to travel for 3 weeks with only a carry-on.
Of course, that required more 'pack planning' than we have ever done for a trip.
And you also have to make sure you have space for the wine on the way back!
Maybe we can do it… maybe…
Portugal is waiting to be explored… Wine, food, people, places and amazing experiences will all add to the stories and memories to treasure.
