{"id":2459,"date":"2024-07-20T21:30:00","date_gmt":"2024-07-20T21:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/travel.monkeydads.com\/2024-paris\/megen\/"},"modified":"2024-07-20T21:30:00","modified_gmt":"2024-07-20T21:30:00","slug":"megen","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/travel.monkeydads.com\/2024-paris\/megen\/","title":{"rendered":"Megen"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We will be staying in the beautiful home of friends in the small town of Megen for the next few days. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With a sigh of relief we were finally able to take those compression socks off and get more comfortable. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We had a relaxing afternoon sitting and talking in the \u2018garden\u2019, and then took a walk through town to get some ice cream. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Megen, as small as it is, has a long history (<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Megen\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Megen<\/a>) and still has two active cloisters.
