Last Supper
Great farewell dinner at a very nice restaurant, Drei Birken.
We had lunch at the Burgerspital Wienstube. This is one of two big hospitals that has wine sales and a restaurant as part of the hospital.
This hospital was started in the 1300’s and at some point a vineyard was donated to the hospital. They started selling their own wines and soon it was the most profitable part of the hospital.

Scenes from Wurzburg, including a Rococo building that opened as a tavern in 1751 and is now the tourist center.
Drinks and gelato before dinner.
Dinner in a pub that has existed in that location since 1308.
After dinner drinks at a pub that Roland used to go to as a young man. It used to be known as the place where the 'intellectuals' hang out.
What makes this city so interesting, is that it was one of the only cities not destroyed during the war.
