The plein where the government buildings are located

This is one of the oldest bridges in Franfurt.

It also happens to be one of those bridges where people will place a lock on the bridge with the hope that their love will last as long.

A quick day trip to Frankfurt. Even though the airplane always lands there, we have never been to the town itself.

Having breakfast on the patio before we head out to Frankfurt for the day.

After shopping we went to a flower park / arboretum called Hermannshof. It is amazing to see plants and flowers dating back to 1770.

We had a nap, a much much needed shower, and now we are off shopping.

First, a furniture store looking for a clothes hanger. Well, we found an orange princess in a royal chair, a irange Waldo hiding, an an angel with a very bright halo.

After an exciting journey down the Autobahn, we finally made it home.

Now for a light lunch and then a quick nap…

Finally made it!! A 2 hour delay and we are now here. Thank you Gaby for picking us up at the airport. No issues going through security and now we are on the Autobahn heading to our home for the next few weeks.
