Sault
Great views of never-ending lavender fields from the hilltop town of Sault.
We stopped at a farm and walked through fields of lavender. The air was heavy with the perfume and the warm Provencal sun was touching us lovingly.
We reached the top of the mountain and not only was it freezing cold, but the wind was whipping us like the mountain earned its name.
Even under those conditions, it was still an amazing view!
On the top of the mountain, with the wind howling and us freezing our **** off, we found Oupa's gift. A small bottle of Lavendar liquor.
Of course we had to pose with it to prove it came from the top of Mt Ventoux!
(Kenn was not impressed)
We are too early to check in, so we are doing grocery shopping in Capentras first.
Fascinating!

Stopped at the winery accross the street to buy Provencal Rose. They not only have hoses on the wall, but you can buy 10L box wines for about 20 bucks.
We love this place!!!!
As we do every day, we spend late afternoon relaxing by the pool and having dinner au jardin.

Our trip today will take us first to Pont du Garde and then later to Avignon.
We walked to the boulangerie again to buy bread for breakfast. Ordered in 'French' again and eventually got what we wanted.
